Innovation for the Next Generation of Undersea Warriors

This classified (Secret) conference will introduce the SSGN, Sea Based Strategic Deterrent (SBSD) and future block upgrades of VA Class program Research and Development to industry.  Attendance is by invitation only from NAVSEA 073

The goals for this conference are to stimulate the Science and Technology efforts among our industrial partners in support of these platforms and beyond, while maintaining high level of interaction and cooperation with our partners.  To accomplish these goals we will convey the Undersea Enterprise Vision through the year 2030, promote our future technology needs - from Discovery and Invention to Operations, articulate acquisition and transition planning as critical elements, and relate the role of undersea assets in irregular warfare.

Identification Badges:
Each attendee will be provided with an identification badge during Check-In at VASCIC.  This badge must be worn at all times while attending the event.  All attendees must present a valid government photo ID (Driver's License), when picking up their badge. 

Security:
This conference is classified Secret.  All attendees must hold a Secret clearance or higher.  Clearance information will be verified via JPAS following submission of your visit request.  Visit Requests are mandatory and must be submitted as directed.  For information regarding registration and visit requests, click here. 

Computers and Cell Phones:
Wireless internet is not permitted in VASCIC.  An administrative room is available with internet connectivity for your company issued laptop.  (Personal laptops are not permitted.)

No laptops will be permitted in the VASCIC auditorium.  Items with recording capability (PDA, cell phone, Blackberry, etc) are not permitted in classified sessions.  Notes taken during classified sessions must be treated as classified.

No photo capable devices (cell phones, cameras, etc) are permitted in VASCIC. 

Special Transportation to Reception:
Transportation arrangements between the Marriott hotel and the Mariner's Museum will be available 10 February.  If you are interested in utilizing this transportation, please indicate such on your Registration Form or send notification to VASCIC@ngc.com. 

Parking:
Please park on the ground floor of the parking garage in any unmarked space.  There is no fee for parking.
